The Franciscan Peddler is a Thrift Shop sponsored by the Franciscan Sisters of the Poor. All proceed Franciscan Ministries is a social service agency offering programs that help build a better future for those who suffer from addiction, live in poverty, are alone, and are on the fringes of society. We provide the basic necessities: from a haircut, to a safe place to live, to help getting off the streets.Inspired and energized by the example of the Franciscan Sisters of the Poor, we are an organization deeply rooted in the Franciscan tradition of serving others regardless of race, creed, or religion. Our mission is to create caring relationships through a healing presence, fostering dignity in the people we serve.Franciscan Ministries, Inc. (FM) operates programs that address the basic human needs of those who frequently go unnoticed, are often despised, and yet are deeply in need of care and attention.
