Northwest Fund for the Environment – Funding environmental work in Washington State Investing in Washington States Environment since 1971 How we Operate Northwest Fund for the Environmentmakes grants to nonprofit organizations in support ofprotection and preservation of natural resources in the state of Washington. We make Boarddirected grants to preselected nonprofit organizations. To respond to pressing needs we also have a Community Response Fund CRF which provides shortterm grants for a specific project or need to eligible nonprofit organizations.
