Western Texas Lions Eye Bank Alliance - San Angelo, Texas Western Texas Lions Eye Bank Alliance The Western Texas Lions Eye Bank Alliance mission is the restoration of sight through the promotion and advancement of eye banking. Established in 1971 by Districts 2A1 2T3 of Texas the West Texas Lions Eye Bank is one of six eye banks in Texas. The Eye Bank Association of America EBAA is the association of transplantation organizations in the United States. Eye Banks have lead the transplantation field with the establishment of medical standards for the procurement and distribution of corneal tissue accreditation of eye banks and comprehensive education programs for doctors technicians and administrators.
