THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES ANIMAL SERVICES IN NORTH CAROLINA AND SOUTH CAROLINA BY TAKING IN UNWANTED, INJURED OR ABANDONED ANIMALS, AND PROVIDING MEDICAL SERVICES NEEDED, SPAYING AND NEUTERING, FOSTER HOMES, ADOPTIONS, FOOD AND GROOMING, AND ANY OTHER SERVICES NECESSARY FOR THE CARE OF THESE ANIMALS. THIS TREATMENT HAPPENS EVERY DAY. THE ULTIMATE GOAL IS TO PROVIDE LOVING NEW HOMES FOR THE ANIMALS. THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION STATEMENT INCLUDES A STRICT "NO KILL" PHILOSOPHY, UNLESS A VETERINARIAN AND TWO BOARD MEMBERS AGREE THAT EUTHANASIA IS NECESSARY
