Tonight at 5:00pm there will be a Special Study Session on Ethnic Studies at the City Council Chambers 275 Main Street 4th Floor Watsonville, CA 95076 This week’s regular board meeting had a PVUSD Maintenance employee show up in a MAGA hat and homophobic T-Shirt so we are expecting quite a bit of conservative opposition coming to the meeting. We are attaching the most recent flyer for tomorrow’s meeting. We would also like to bring your attention to anti-Ethnic Studies legislation AB 1468 which was co-introduced by our local Assemblymember Dawn Addis and is a re-package of the failed and racist bill from last year AB 2918. For an illuminating view of AB 1468, take a look at this article by Marcy Winograd. Expect to hear more from us on AB 1468 in the coming weeks. (fb)
