THE PURPOSE OF THE NORWOOD LIFE CARE FOUNDATION IS TO MANAGE FUNDRAISING AND INVESTMENT FOR THE FOLLOWING RELATED NOT FOR PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS: NORWOOD CROSSING ASSOCIATION, NORWOOD SENIORS NETWORK ASSOCIATION, NORWOOD LIFE SOCIETY, NORWEGIAN LUTHERAN BETHESDA HOME ASSOCIATION, AND THE NORWOOD PARK SATELLITE SENIORS CENTER. THESE ORGANIZATIONS PROVIDE SERVICES TO AREA SENIORS IN TWO LONG TERM CARE FACILITIES WITH A TOTAL OF 266 LICENSED BEDS AND 55 ASSISTED LIVING UNITS. IN 2023, 41% OF THE RESIDENTS AT THESE FACILITIES RECEIVED FREE OR SUBSIDIZED CARE.
