The center is an organization formed to secure justice for children by promoting a model of justice for minors that treats children as children, and responds to their misconduct with strategies designed to improve their chances of becoming constructive members of society. The center is at the forefront of the effort to transform the way children under 18 years of age are treated in New York courts and nationally.
