Home to the Gerrit Smith Estate National Historic Landmark and the National Abolition Hall of Fame & Museum. Indoor visitation is closed for now. The National Abolition Hall of Fame and Museum honors antislavery abolitionists, their work to end s NAHOF honors antislavery abolitionists, their work to end slavery, and the legacy of that struggle, and strives to complete the second and ongoing abolition-the moral conviction to end slavery. To accomplish this NAHOF operates a museum in Peterboro, New York and conducts a major program each Fall to honor abolitionists who have been inducted into the Hall of Fame.
