Our mission is to ignite a renaissance of civic purpose and awareness in American higher educationwith ripple effects in K12 classrooms and beyond. Improving civic education for Americas future The loss of civic awareness and purpose is the top challenge our country faces as we prepare for Americas 250th birthday in 2026. The Jack Miller Center is building a diverse civics coalition of scholars K12 educators and civic education leaders to revive Americas founding principles and history for millions of students nationwide.
