Kvali was founded and operational in 1999, incorporated in 2001, and designated 501c3 in March 2002. Our mission is the advancement of education, promotion of independent media & the arts, and relief of the poor, underserved and underdeveloped. We help the Georgian-American children, youth and their families overcome educational and cultural gaps, and enable the building and maintaining of ties to their new US community and native country, while strengthening the overall family entity in society. We accomplish this by providing integrally linked empowerment services focused on literacy education, training and communications, where leaders are being developed at the grassroots level for continued success. We look to leverage learning and outreach through efficient and effective use of modern Information and Communication Technology (ICT, such as computers and the Internet), knowing the future relies on these capabilities.
