Immigrants are already stressed enough by the experiences they face as newcomers to the country, some, for very different reasons, for most, a common experience of having to adjust to a whole new way of life in a new country. Any change involving a transition as big as emigrating to a new land can be quite disorienting, at best. Throw in the Coronavirus as an acute stressor that threatens all, newcomers and host citizens, as well, and disorientation and disequilibrium can be overwhelming!
