In Season 2025-26 we present eight Sunday matinées at Sanders Theatre. Anchored by masterworks of the chamber music literature—by Mozart, Fauré, Schumann, Dvořák, Messiaen and others—the season also welcomes several works in their first performance on our series, including Beethoven’s monumental Grosse Fuge. Woven in among the giants of the genre are the lesser known, but no less compelling, voices of composers like Coleridge-Taylor, Farrenc, Zemlinsky and Penderecki. We will also welcome a new string octet, our 2025 commission, by composer and BCMS member violinist Alyssa Wang!
