Crystal Band of Scranton Practice starts back up Monday September 25th Photo Credit David Orrson Originated in 1879 the Crystal Band of Scranton is an allvolunteer community band in Northeastern Pennsylvania. The Crystal Band averages yearly of approximately 50 woodwind brass and percussion musicians of all ages. The band plays a wide variety of musical selections including modern popular arrangements light classical pops Broadway Sousa big band and Christmas selections. The Crystal Band is composed of musicians ranging from high school students to retirees.
