SBANCA provides information and peer support to persons with Spina Bifida and their families in the Washington DC metropolitan area. We do this by providing four support group meetings each month and three parties a year free of charge to individuals and families affected by Spina Bifida. In addition we maintain a loan closet where people can bring gently used durable medical equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, and crutches, and some new consumable medical supplies to share with others.
