HSJCWA Welcome to the Humane Society of Jefferson County WA. We are an open admissions animal shelter located in Port Townsend WA that supports the lives of animals and people in our community. When animals arrive at our shelter they are often stressed fearful and confused. Our staff immediately begin building positive relationships with them and find foster placement andor adoptive homes as quickly as possible in order to alleviate their stress and increase their wellbeing.
