We’re excited to celebrate Ms. Chalon "Chay" Ross, our founding Visual + Media Arts teacher at Alliance Simon Tech High School, who’s just been named the 2025 Pacific Region Secondary Art Educator of the Year! For nearly 20 years, Chay has inspired young artists and made a lasting impact inside and outside the classroom. She’s led statewide work around equity in the arts, mentored teachers across the country, and was even recognized by the U.S. Congress. Through hip-hop, technology, and social justice, she helps students connect their creativity with who they are and what they care about. We’re so proud to have Chay as part of the Alliance family.
