We are a private, non-profit museum whose mission is to preserve and display artifacts associated with people and events in County history. We are a not-for-profit history museum focused on collecting and preserving the history of Champaign County, Illinois. To discover, collect, preserve, exhibit, study, and interpret objects relating to the history of Champaign County and to provide educational programs about the County’s heritage and the Museum’s collections.

Champaign County Historical Museum
Wilber found himself at the First Christian Church in Urbana. This church, located at 402 West Main Street, was designed by renowned local architect Joseph William Royer. The church was built in 1911 to replace the First Christian Church's wooden building across the street to the south.
