The Society for American City and Regional Planning History (SACRPH) was founded in 1986 to promote scholarship and education on the planning of cities and metropolitan regions over time. It edits and publishes the Journal of Planning History, an academic journal. And it supports graduate students through its bi-ennial academic conferences.
