We are so thrilled to celebrate Mason's Law which has been passed in Iowa, allowing for the creation of the first pediatric palliative care home there! Mason and his loving family came to Crescent Cove for end-of-life care. After his passing, his parents thought, "Why did we have to drive 5 hours from home for this? Why isn't there one in Iowa?" And thus their path began. So many amazing photos were taken at this past Sunday's Spring Fling for families, we just had to share some more! The Lakeville Women's la crosse team did an incredible job leading several activity tables, including one where kids to hold baby chicks! And of course kids and families loved spending time with Joe Mauer on Dragonfly Field, hitting balls and running the bases! Thank you to Papa K’s Rescue BBQ, Blue Moo Ice Cream truck, Joe Mauer, of course, and all the incredible volunteers who helped make Sunday such a special day for families!
