Here we go again--Trump is weaponizing a federal program that will impact thousands of people's access to health care, including at Planned Parenthood. Title X is the only federal program dedicated to providing affordable birth control and reproductive health care. Millions of people rely on Planned Parenthood for essential health care—like cancer screenings, STI testing and treatment, and birth control. This nation's health care system already has drastic disparities in outcomes and options, especially for women, people of color, LGBTQ+ people, immigrants, people with low incomes, and medically underserved communities. Holding back Title X funding is dangerous and exacerbates these harms across the country.
