Dear Pray-ers and friends, Thanks so much for your prayers for us! There have been some stretching moments on our trip over but His Grace has brought us through. The major prayer for Sue is total health in her body as my throat is mildly sore and my sinuses aren’t where they should be. I am feeling much better than yesterday and the Lord assured me to simply relax and thank Him that He is taking care of everything. Above all for both of us, pray we can sleep better and find a bit more time to be still! If you aren’t aware of the time difference, we’re 7 hours ahead of the east coast of the US. We are enjoying. a quiet morning in Mbale, Uganda at our hotel until this afternoon when Philip drives us to the retreat center where we will be until Saturday morning for our first 4 day Marriage God’s Way with 25 pastors and heir wives. We sense our days there will be very full so felt it would be good to send this before then. Our first 2 days of ministry were very positive! Saturday we were at our pastor friend’s church for the day ministering to over 200 youth. There was lively worship with he youth leading that part, but we had the chance to share much about their true Father’s love, how our hearts get wounded and more. They were very responsive to forgiving the debt their parents or others owed them by writing it on paper and toking it to the cross. Lunch was served to all of them and then we shared more in the afternoon about living in sonship and walking in their divine destiny. It was a wonderful day! Sunday Rick spoke at Philip’s church to the whole congregation. Before he spoke though we were truly blown away by a 10 year old boy who had been born a Muslim, but when he found and made Jesus Christ his Lord and Savior, he was kicked out of him home. He basically preached to the whole church for at least 10 minutes and was so bold, it truly touched our hearts! We felt led to go and pray over this young man and I prophesied that his voice, his voice, his voice would be heard by many! The anointing was strong! Then Rick spoke on “Father’s Love - a Love you can Trust.” He did a great job and then gave an alter call for salvation, healing, and anyone who desired to experience and receive their Father’s love. We prayed for several for healing and both of us prayed for many to receive His love. Rick prayed for several men to receive His love and the last lady I prayed for was truly overwhelmed by His love and shed some tears! At the end a lady also received salvation! We then drove to land they have purchased o build a much larger church where we cleansed the land, walked around it and prayed for angels to stand guard. We also thanked the Lord for the funds to build it! Then we were driven back to our hotel where we both took naps which felt really good! Philip and his family joined us for dinner at our hotel and we enjoyed some fellowship before we both got some rest! This may be mor details than any of you prefer, but it’s our way of remembering all that has happened! I will include a couple pictures for now! May you each have a great week.
