THE AMNION FOUNDATION INC
Amnion has three primary goals. First, we are building a national, public stem cell bank using fetal cells collected from the placenta after a live, healthy bank. These cells will be available to all patients in need of an immunologically matched stem cell transplant. Second, Amnion is supporting clinical research using these stem cells. Third, Amnion is providing educational and outreach materials to help patients understand the risks and benefits of tissue donation and stem cell transplants.
