CONTINUED ON SCHEDULE 0.THROUGH ITS ACTIVITIES, THE CORPORATION HOPES TO SPARK ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND JOBS IN ECONOMICALLY DEPRESSED NEIGHBORHOODS, HELP STABILIZE THESE NEIGHBORHOODS AND DISCOURAGE "FLIGHT" FROM THE NEIGHBORHOODS, AND INCREASE THE NUMBER OF BUSINESS ROLE MODELS WITHIN THESE NEIGHBORHOODS SO YOUTH IN THE NEIGHBORHOODS CAN SEE SMALL BUSINESS OWNERSHIP AS A POSSIBLE AVENUE TO SUCCESS.

A Pebble in a Pond Just as when a pebble is dropped in a still pond the ripple stretches far and wide. Through our affiliated colleges and universities along with our volunteer mentors and donors the Habitat for Neighborhood Business program provides the tools to support established and aspiring entrepreneurs to increase economic vitality commercial investment and job growth. The result is these entrepreneurs become a stabilizing force in underserved communities for those who live there to thrive and flourish.
