The primary mission of Global Surgical Outreach is to reduce the global burden of surgical disease through education, development of medical infrastructure, and the provision of pro bono head and neck surgery for both for adults and children in the less d The primary mission of Global Surgical Outreach is to reduce the global burden of surgical disease through education, development of medical infrastructure, and the provision of pro bono head and neck / facial reconstructive surgery both in the US and the less developed world for both adults and children. In addition to general otolaryngologic care, we  provide specialized treatment for patients who were born with cleft lip palate deformities, those who have suffered injury from war and  those affected by other forms of violence including domestic violence. We believe the education of surgeons, nurses, and other health care workers is vital to a sustainable and effective program to relieve the burden of surgical diseases around world.
