Learning together to love our neighbors as ourselves in the Latino neighborhood of Chirilagua. "Learning together to love our neighbors as ourselves." Mission: Developing relationships with families to see the Chirilagua neighborhood transformed by Christ. We provide educational support and foster spiritual, character and leadership development for under-served students in the Chirilagua neighborhood of Alexandria, VA, primarily through after school programming and one-on-one mentoring relationships. We also offer adult programming including English, Spanish literacy, computer literacy, and nutrition classes. We are community led and inspired. All of our programs were started in direct response to requests from our neighborhood. We set up regularly monthly listening sessions with families in our programs in addition to our Directiva, a board of community members, in order to listen well to our community before implementing programming
