Los Angeles Academy of Media & Technology, Inc. (LAAMT) is a nonprofit organization that focuses on the development and implementation of media and technology into inner-city communities focusing on health care and physical fitness. Our mission is to improve inner-city communities by providing health screenings and prevention awareness classes to inner-city youths teaching them about the advantages of early diagnosis and detection. LAAMT views the following technologies as key pathways to help improve our mission: 1) Trackers; 2) Wearables; 3) Portable diagnostic devices; 4) Operative dentistry; 5) Smart toothbrushing demonstrations and 6) Teledentistry
