When Hannah Burton, a 20-year-old college athlete, underwent a routine foot surgery, she didn't expect to be facing a life threatening pulmonary embolism only weeks later. May is Mental Health Month, and to celebrate, our team members participated in the NAMI Walk on May 10. The NAMI Walk is part of a national movement to increase advocacy, education, support, and public awareness for mental health. With 60 participants, TriHealth raised $16,239 across all four teams, which is 108% of our goal, surpassing last year's total! The weather couldn't have been better, making the day even more enjoyable. A huge thank you to everyone for the incredible team effort! (fb)
