Non-profit org raising money for the UW's American Family Children's Hospital and celebrating Bucky Badger student mascots. 27th Annual GBO, Sept 15! The Greater Bucky Open, Inc. is a fundraiser golf outing with proceeds benefiting the UW Health's American Family Children's Hospital and Bucky Badger student mascots. The event is always held on a home UW football weekend. The Greater Bucky Open strives to bring comfort, support, and welcome distraction to patients and families at the University of Wisconsin Health's American Family Children's Hospital along with showing appreciation for Bucky Badger student mascots. The Greater Bucky Open Family Lounge is located in the hematology/oncology section of the Children's hospital. Provides computers, programs, entertainment along with a valuable and needed food program so that patients families may remain bedside with their loved ones. Also support the needs of the Bucky Badger student mascot program with money that goes towards their uniforms, travel and scholarship donation.
