Remember June, our recent SPCA resident who has been in our care for almost a year? June has been out enjoying her foster family for the last couple of days and hopes you will consider fostering!! ❤️🐱🐶 Fostering our long-term shelter residents can be a game-changer for these guys who have been here in our care for a while. By taking them into a home environment, you provide a much-needed break from the stresses of shelter life, allowing them to decompress. In a home setting, their natural behaviors and their true traits become more apparent, giving potential adopters a clearer picture of who they are. This increased socialization and exposure can significantly boost their adoptability, helping them find their forever homes more quickly! Fostering not only improves the lives of these animals but also opens up valuable space in the shelter, creating opportunities for other animals in need. (fb)

Field Trip for Herbie!! Herbie had a blast on his Doggie Day Out. Herbie is one of our longest residents, he has been here since July, 2024. If you are looking for a goofy boy to give lots of love and cuddles come by and meet with Herbie today! Doggie Day Out is a great mental break for shelter dogs, as well as giving them a chance to really stretch their legs.
