(RA) is a non-profit, 501c3 public charity established in 1984 whose mission is to "restore and renew families back into communities" by serving as the conduit of housing assistance resources as well as education and permanent housing solutions for low to moderate Income (LMI) families, Veterans and seniors who are suffering from financial hardship.While we pride ourselves on helping families in need within our communities, we serve as a strong community collaborative partner for banks and financial institutions within each community. • Revitalization of abandoned properties to help stabilize and renew neighborhoods• Forming collaboration partnerships with banks and financial institutions.• Serving Veterans, Seniors and Low to Moderate Income families in distressed housing scenarios to find permanent housing solutionsRestoration America is a HUD approved local housing counseling agency providing Financial Education, Fair Housing, Pre-Purchase Education, Mortgage Delinquency/Foreclosure, Rental Counseling/Education.Restoration America, through it's 100 acre farm in Crete, IL (Heroes of Freedom Farm) provided day outings and overnight retreats where Veterans suffering from PTS, TBI and other readjustment struggles can enjoy non-clinical, recreational therapeutic activities aimed at assisting with their physical, mental and spiritual recovery.
