It's Tuesday- you know what that means! Who can #treeID this lovely specimen? I came by this tree along Richland Creek, in Waynesville, NC. The ground was carpeted in its showy petals after a night of heavy rain and wind. This tree is a favorite of craftsmen. Beekeepers speak highly of its value as a honey plant.
