Santa Ana Historical Preservation Society - Champions in preserving and celebrating the history of our local Santa Ana, CA community. The Santa Ana Historical Preservation Society - focused on preserving and celebrating the history of our city. We work to preserve and celebrate local history by creating living history programs for adults and children, sponsoring salvage opportunities for vintage home owners, maintain photo and information archives of early local history, and maintain & preserve the Dr. Willella Howe-Waffle House and Medical Museum. The Dr. Howe-Waffle House was the home and office of one of Orange County's first female physicians -- a pioneer and inspiration to so many, and a God-send to her patients. We also operate the Santa Ana Fire Museum, which showcases Santa Ana firefighting history as well as firefighting history in general. The Santa Ana Fire Museum operates within a working fire station - Orange County Fire Authority Station 75, formerly Santa Ana Fire Station 5.
