Bags and Buddies – Ride the Bus, Get Groceries, and More Happening May 7, 2025 Do you or someone you know struggle with getting enough food or finding reliable transportation. You’re invited to join us for Bags and Buddies, a supportive event designed to make riding the bus easier—and help you bring home groceries, too. Here’s what you can expect: Choose from one of two sessions on May 7, 2025 Staff from local agencies will ride along to help you get from the bus terminal to a grocery store along the bus route Learn how to use public transportation with guidance and support Each participant receives: Two insulated grocery bags A free day bus pass from the Butler Transit Authority A $10 grocery store gift card (one per household) An informational packet on local food and transportation resources Register Today Call the CCR Information and Referral Line at 724-431-3748 to reserve your spot.
