Prevention Our approach to addressing substance abuse in Lea County focuses on prevention intervention and treatment services. Intervention Intervention efforts for substance use and abuse emphasize early detection providing support and linking individuals to appropriate treatment to prevent further escalation. These efforts also include community outreach and harm reduction initiatives to facilitate recovery.
