Mid-State Literacy Council provides literacy services for the residents of Centre and Clearfield Counties. Basic Literacy and English as a Second programs serve the needs of young adults and adults. Services are provided with integrity and care. Residents seek the opportunity to achieve work, education, and family goals through literacy education. Mid-State Literacy Council trains volunteers as tutors and classroom leaders who then provide instruction to adult students in accessible locations.
