Our mission is to rescue, socialize and provide necessary care for dogs, regardless of breed, age, gender, and health. We work with a number of different shelters that contact us when they need our support. We also work with owner surrenders. Another part of our mission is to educate the public on the plight of homeless animals and responsible pet ownershivet care, food, and training as needed.

ABOUT US Rawhide Rescue Inc. was formed in July of 2001 to serve the needs of homeless pets by providing loving and expeditious rescue to pets in our local area provide foster homes and careful placement. Rawhide Rescue does not have a brick and mortar shelter we are a group of nonpaid individuals who have organized and opened their hearts and homes to give unwanted pets another chance. Rawhide serves the areas of Central New Jersey and parts of New York hoping to minimize shelter overcrowding and end unnecessary euthanasia.
