Admissions Criteria
To be eligible for services, individuals must:
- Have a diagnosis of a severe and persistent mental illness.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a history of extended or repeated psychiatric hospitalizations.
- May have co-existing mental illness and substance abuse.
- Demonstrate a need for daily support or supervision.
Priority for admissions is often given to referrals from state and county hospitals, as well as other community referring agencies.
