Hanns R. Neumann Stiftung (HRNS) is an independent foundation, working to improve the livelihoods of smallholder families in coffee regions. Hanns R. Neumann Stiftung North America is part of the global HRNS Network. Hanns R. Neumann Stiftung (HRNS) is an independent foundation and operates since 2005. The aim of the foundation is to improve the social situation of people in tropical countries (especially the producers of agricultural crops such as coffee), the welfare and education of youth, and the protection of nature and the environment. HRNS pursues its objectives through: (i) Proactively implementing project work and programs, (ii) engaging in partnerships and cooperation with like-minded organizations from the public and private sector and (iii) learning jointly with partners and sharing experiences and lessons learnt. Vision: Smallholder families prosper, and youth are drivers for thriving communities in coffee regions.
