PROVIDENCE SINGERS INC
Christine Noel, Artistic Director Providence Singers is a 90-voice auditioned choir that performs choral masterworks, commissions and performs new music, and presents concerts focusing on social issues. The choir performs one or two concerts annually with the RI Philharmonic Orchestra. The Providence Singers presents choralperformances of distinction to connect singers, listeners and composers increative exploration of the choral art. It performs diverse choral works topreserve the choral tradition and extends that tradition by commissioning andperforming new compositions. Through its concerts and recordings, and byfostering the musical growth of its membership and young singers, it sparkscreative connections that nurture lifelong choral singing and civic engagement.
