🎉 Happy Birthday to the visionary architect Mario Botta! 🎂🎈 The Bechtler Museum of Modern Art stands as a testament to Botta’s masterful approach to architecture—bold, modern, and deeply connected to its surroundings. Known for his use of geometric forms, rich textures, and timeless materials, Botta designed our museum to be both a striking landmark in Charlotte and a harmonious partner within the city’s architectural landscape. We are honored to be one of only two museums in the United States designed by this world-renowned Swiss architect, alongside @sfmoma. Today, we celebrate his incredible legacy and the beauty he has brought to our city.
