Sexual Violence Center offers confidential services to survivors, their friends, and their families - free of charge. 24-Hour Crisis Line: 612.871.5111 SVC provides free support services to individuals who have experienced sexual violence. Sexual Violence Center’s vision is that no one impacted by sexual violence will navigate alone. To achieve our vision, we’ve made it our mission to support people impacted by sexual violence through crisis intervention, case management, outreach, education, and systems change.

Some folks may want to pursue legal justice while other folks may want to focus on other methods of healing like therapy support groups journaling talking to loved ones spiritual healing creative expression movement etc. Healing is a personal journey and each person can decide which avenues will allow them to regain power in their life.

Come to the Building Bridges Conference 2025 for “What Helps, What Hurts: A Survivor’s Story of Systems, Healing, and What We Can Do Better” by Cheyenne Wilson. Cheyenne is the author of We Are the Evidence and brings her experience as a nurse and a survivor to advocate for systems change. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of what helps, what hurts, and what healing-centered engagement truly looks like - especially when justice isn’t achieved through traditional means.
