Wausau Skeet & Trap Club Inc

The Wausau Skeet & Trap Club Inc is a nonprofit organization designated as a 501(c)(7) social and recreational club. It is based in Wausau, Wisconsin, and is recognized for providing a wide range of shotgun shooting sports in North Central Wisconsin.

History

In 1991, the Wausau Paper Company in Brokaw donated land to the club, significantly expanding its size to 60 acres. This donation facilitated the construction of various shooting facilities, enhancing the club's capacity to host different shooting disciplines.

Activities

The club offers several shooting activities, including Trap, Skeet, 5-Stand, and Sporting Clays. It operates on specific days of the week and month, catering to both regular members and the public. During winter months, it opens on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month. During warmer months, it is open for activities like Trap and Sporting Clays on Mondays, Trap and Skeet on Tuesdays, and Trap, Skeet, and 5-Stand on Wednesdays, among other schedules.

Mission

The club focuses on promoting friendship, recreation, education, and friendly competition through shooting sports events. It aims to foster a community around these activities, encouraging participation and camaraderie among its members.
