The North Star Lily Societys purpose is to educate our members in the culture of lilies and to promote the genus lilium. We support scientific research in culture and hybridization and the uniform registration of new lilies. Our online mission is to share our knowledge of growing the genus lilium in the upper Midwest area of the United States specifically in the State of Minnesota. Native species lilies and lilies hybridized in Minnesota are of particular interest.
