TO DEVELOP AND OPERATE A FACILITY VENUE TO PRESERVE AND DISPLAY STEARMAN AIRCRAFT AND ARTIFACTS FOR HISTORICAL RESEARCH AND PUBLIC EDUCATION. IN ADDITION TO PROVIDE FUNDING FOR THE ANNUAL STEARMAN FLY-IN AND THUS PROMOTE INTEREST IN STEARMAN AIRCRAFT BY YOUTH AND ADULTS.

Located at the Galesburg Municipal Airport GBG the facility provides a permanent home for the National Stearman FlyIn as well as the National Stearman Foundation. The hangar facility serves as a yearround home to the world community of Stearman owners pilots enthusiasts historians and future caretakers of this legendary aircraft.
