Did you know? Every year around 20 RBTV members journey to Central America to partner with School The World, helping build schools in rural communities. Each participant raises their own funds to make these trips possible. These photos capture moments from past experiences. As www.schooltheworld.org puts it, “It gives them a chance to step out of their comfort zone to work alongside the rural communities toward the common goal of building a school for children in rural areas.” Founder, Ron Burton Sr often said, “When you stop getting better, you’re no longer good”, and time and again, we see how these experiences shape our young people into better citizens and stronger leaders. With heavy hearts, we share the passing of RBTV alum Quang Dang. A beloved member of our RBTV community, Quang attended Nativity Preparatory School, The Roxbury Latin School and Dartmouth College, where he earned his B.A. in Engineering. He was deeply loved by all who knew him. Quang was 28 years old. Quang‘s viewing will be held at St Ambrose Parish, 240 Adam St in Dorchester on Saturday, March 15th, starting at 7:30am, followed by a Mass at 8:30am. (fb)
