Don’t forget tomorrow is one of our most important food drives of the year. It’s the day when you can leave non-perishable food out for your mail person to collect. It’s a chance for everyone to participate. All you need to do is put an item work two from your cupboards into a bag to be picked up when your mail is delivered tomorrow. At the end of the day, the postal workers deliver it all to the food pantry where it is Weighed, sorted, and put away by our wonderful volunteers. And thanks to some of our community partners. All these great people are treated to pizza for their help, including the dedicated postalworkers. This drive happens all over Crawford County and the food is split between all eight of the CFS food pantries as well as some of the church pantries. Our food pantries have been serving record numbers of people experiencing food insecurity. Please help if you can. (fb)
