SUPPORT, PROMOTE, PUBLICIZE, STRENGTHEN AND ENLARGEMENT OF THE OPPORTUNITIES AND FACILITIES OF THE AL-ROWWAD CULTURAL AND THEATRE TRAINING CENTER, OR ANY SUCCESSOR ORGANIZATION HAVING SUBSTANTIALLY THE SAME PURPOSE, IN OR ASSOCIATED WITH THE AIDA REFUGEEE CAMP, IN BETHLEHEM, WEST BANK, PALESTINE, IN ORDER TO PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL, CULTURAL, ARTISTIC AND CREATIVE ENRICHMENT FORCHILDREN LIVING IN AN ENVIRONMENT OF DEPRIVATION AND OFTEN VIOLENCE, THUS ENCOURAGING CHILDREN TO BE PROMOTERS OF PEACE NOTWITHSTANDING THEIR DIFFICULT CIRCUMSTANCES.

Friends of AlRowwad USA Beautiful resistance in Palestine Our Mission Alrowwad USA is a 501c3 organization whose purpose is to support the AlrowwadCultural and Theater Training Center in the Aida refugee camp in Bethlehem Palestine. The Alrowwad Cultural and Theater Training Center is an independent nonpolitical and nongovernmental association in the Aida refugee camp. Alrowwad was founded in 1998 by Abdelfattah Abusrour as an essential way to give children a means for selfexpression and resilience under the harsh realities of the Israeli occupation. The Center creates a safe childcentered space where the children of the camp can be children again.
