Rocky Mountain BEST
To engage, excite, and inspire students to pursue careers in engineering, science and technology through an engineering-based robotics competition. Rocky Mountain BEST provides a forum for youth to develop technical skills through a robotics program in which youths partner with engineering and science professionals in the local community to design and build competition robots. RMBEST’s mission is to engage and excite students about engineering, science, and technology as well as inspire them to pursue careers in these fields. Through participation in our project-based STEM program, students learn to analyze and solve problems utilizing the Engineering Design Process, which helps them develop technological literacy skills. It is these skiIls that industry seeks in its workforce. Schools participate at no cost -- there is no fee; Students are the primary participants and benefactors. Students perform all of the work.
