For Child Abuse Prevention Month, we will be providing tips and advice for parents and caregivers to help prevent and spot child abuse. The YMCA of Central New York’s Code of Conduct creates guidelines for acceptable and unacceptable interactions between Y staff and volunteers and program participants - whether kids visit daily as part of a Y program or are staying in child watch while you hit the gym. Our organization had a powerful presence at the Feed My Starving Children event last night, a community service initiative hosted by The Vineyard Church. In just two hours, our team helped pack 204 boxes—44,064 meals! This will provide a daily meal for 120 children for an entire year. An incredible experience making a global impact in the fight against hunger! (fb)
