MOTHERSTOMOTHERS is an international 501c3 non-for-profit that works in villages and slum areas, listening to the needs of mothers to create well-thought-out, affordable, sustainable projects which allow them to work and care for themselves and their children.All our projects share the common theme of addressing work life issues for mothers, education for girls, along with ongoing village-based healthcare.Some things are consistent; mothers are engaged in the project from its inception and we send the mothers from the village who choose to learn the skills needed to participate in all aspects of building and on-going management of the project.In Amacho Wato Kebele, a very poor village, many mothers had no choice but to have their babies with them as they made pottery in their homes to sell at the market to survive.
